The major trick is to have your NW WP number in the researvation when you make it. My ticket made by my travel agent on DL and Alitalia without any NW/KLM flights shows up on nwa.com under the "View/Change Researvations"
Plus when you call into NW, once they have your WP number, they too can see everything. It's great technology.
