I appreciate that to many this is a moot point as you're so reliant on your BA Amex cards, but I got an unwelcome surprise when checking my current account online yesterday.

A $35 transaction (not a cash advance) had a little £1 extra fee tagged on the end. Apparently from May 20th, Lloyds is extending this fantastic offer to all its debit card holders, presumably just in time for the majority of them to bugger off to the sun for two weeks, use their debit cards in place of cash and find they've inadvertently lined the banks coffers some more, but by then it's all too late!

After close on 20 years, this is too much. Two fingers to LTSB, i'm off to bank with the Nationwide.....
