The only things I really look for when I'm in Hawaii are orchids that I can't get here (these would be quality orchids from professional growers, not the WalMart kinds), and coconut pancake syrup, which I also can't find here. Costco sometimes has the syrup in huge containers (which I like) or supermarkets and places such as Longs have small containers.

You'll find malls and all the same stores as everywhere else, but I also like to seek out crafts made in Hawaii. There are markets where you can find Hawaiiana. Hawaiian quilts are quite nice too.
