I guess I didn't direct my question very well. I am not asking for a cheaper fare. I am asking how to do a mileage run from hnl to slc. I need to fly to slc and I will be travelling alone so I would like to do a mileage run on my way there.

I am wondering if someone could suggest a mileage run or let me know how to add extra stops on my way to slc. I hope that makes more sense.
