Inn at the Forks is a beautiful hotel...it is only a year old with lots of Manitoba Tyndall stone, luxuriously appointed rooms and good dining. There is a fabulous spa. It is "at the Forks" so there is lots to do in the immediate area...It also is superbly priced (after all, it is YWG)... If you are going for points or have status, the Fairmont is a good choice...the rest of the hotels in Winnipeg are a bit "tired"-looking or run-of-the-mill.
