That said, I've just accepted a new job down in Santa Monica, and will be commuting back and forth (spending 3-4 nights down south) until we get a new home, etc etc

The office itself is at 2nd and Santa Monica, but the Delfina is a bit too pricey for what the company will pay.

I was thinking of the Four Points in Culver City or near the airport, but it's not clear whether either has broadband, which is pretty much a requirement for me.

I appreciate suggestions!

I would first try the Westin LAX, particularly if your nights are Thurs-Sat. The diff in price between the Westin, Sheraton, and 4pts LAX is negligible. I'd also try to use the special rates, i.e. stay 2 nights get one free, etc. The Westin LAX seems always seems to be honoring that promotion. The Sheraton and 4pts aren't bad either.

A surprising choice can also be the Century Plaza. When they honor the stay 2 nights get another free, the price can be as little as $116 per night.

I haven't heard anything good about the CC property and its only minimally closer than the LAX properties which are much better.

In any event, don't give up on the Delfina. Sometimes the special rates brings the price down significantly. Good Luck and congrats on the job.
