while it may have its shortcomings, it is operating near capacity and bad things don't happen there that often (a stark contrast from its more "convenient" cousin across town).
as far as China is concered (ex-HKG) I'm not suprised, but based on it's neighbors, I didn't find it too impressive at all.
probably a lot better than PEK and hongqing though... can't say i've been there myself though. You've been everywhere - you'll know.
