Let's face it: we're screwed on this. There's essentially NO way to avoid the ripoff fees (20 pages of discussion....) ----ANYBODY with CONCRETE suggestions for a Credit Union Card anybody can get without the fees can chime in right here, rather than supply generalities--- and we're going to have to crank up the outrage if we want to get this reversed..........

What we've seen in the press (all over this issue) has been ineffective in shaming them into competing on this fee: they're clearly all *colluding* and grabbing the cash they can get...... WE NEED A CARD WHICH EVERYONE CAN GET WHICH DOESN'T CHARGE THIS FEE. THEN WE NEED TO GET ONE, EN MASSE. That's the only way to break new ground on this issue.

C'mon: somebody out there at a University: you've got a credit union that welcomes members, which doesn't charge the fee, right? Can you name one, so we can avoid this fee????? ANYONE???????
