I've had pretty good experiences with inter-island flights between LIH and HNL: I can either use 5,000 miles for an Aloha flight (I've been able to get a round trip on a week's notice every time), or walk up to the counter and pay $79-89 one way.

I'd be glad to take Ted from SFO-LIH with Pleasant Holidays (as long as UA still has other routes with F seats as well). In the past, they usually offered the lowest fare, but the miles were useless for me (either ATA, or Aloha miles that never showed up). My guess is we'll earn UA miles.
