Have you considered an Amex Plat card? You'd get access to all of the clubs. Don't know if you could get the card in time - but if you're going to be doing more of these it's probably well worth it.
I was in SFO last week and went to use the WC, which is outside of security. When I asked someone at the NW ticket counters, they said it was closed and directed me down the hall to the PC. It is one of the less desireable PC's
