Hello there!
I'm a long-time DL medallion member. I really like the new Flying Blue program: this year I'll fly 40k+ status miles with DL, getting only a measly Silver (25% bonus only and domestic upgrades which have become more and more rare). On AF I would be Gold.
Can anybody tell me if it is worth writing customer service asking to be comped, once I reach 40k miles ? As soon as I get that it would be bye-bye Delta.
I know other airlines commonly do that, but I'm wondering if this could be harder given that both AF and DL are SkyTeam members.
Also, is there a webpage, phone number, email address better suited for comps ?
