Was it a consolidated fare? How did it appear on your statement? I don't use opodo (they charge both an agency fee and a cc fee here in the UK) but with expedia and travelocity, when I buy a published fare with amex, it appears on my amex statement under the name of the operating carrier (with details of routing) and there is a separate charge for the agency fee. If it is a consolidated fare, however, the whole sum may appear on my statement as a payment to the agency.
If the former case, I would imagine that you would get your extra points. In the latter, the contrary would be true. I would imagine that you would still get your extra points if you bought them from www.airfrance.co.uk. However, afaik, you need a UK address to do that.
