August can be hot ... we had temperatures in the 50tis and rain in Aug. some years ago.
I don't know Bristol .. think it's one of the nice hotels at the "Ring". We have stayed at the Hilton Danube. The hotel and prices are O.K., a little remote, but a free shuttle to Hilton on the "Ring". Free parking!!
