When I was in that area late last year, I couldn't find any reasonable rates on rental cars. I wasn't brave enough to look at local rental outlets so I ended up not renting anything. Of course, I didn't need a car for an entire week so you might have to bite the bullet on this one. Have you looked at any local places? I'll look through my bookmarks to see if I still have some sites saved.
