Would you stick with DL if you had a real option?

I usually hate survey-type posts such as this, but I really believe that DL is fast sliding downhill, especially with its domestic F product. A 737 redeye from SFO to JFK? Let's get real!

I also believe that its international BE product compares unfavorably to AA's J seating and service.

I'm a case in point ... I was a very loyal DL flyer from 1997 to 2003 and a PM for most of that period. But right now, I need 10,000 MQMs (which I could easily get for a bit over $1,000) to make PM Lite and I don't think it's worth the effort. I'll probably earn it by year-end despite myself, but I'm not really excited about it except for the 6 PMUs that I can use to take my kids to India next year.

I realize that those who are hub captives have little choice, but what do the rest of you think? Just curious.
