Does this mean less available award seats?
On the surface it certainly would seem to hurt the supply of available Saver Economy seats. Pleasant will certainly eat up a
huge hunk of Economy seats at mostly low bulk rates. Could even drive the price up for the remaining paid Economy seats, as well.
If the Pleasant deal is really successful and demand warrants it, perhaps United will add another flight or two (as is vaguely hinted at in the Press Release), that might help offset any shortage.
