I usually hit #2 for reservations, enter my MP#, then go for the agent through the keypad. I skip the whole confirmation dreck.
I usually have very short waits if at all. When the agent answers, they can read my status and name. Sometimes I get better service due to it and sometimes you get the totally blase ones regardless.
