As of yesterday, there were room types attached to the SPG1 rate plan and the SPG1S rate plan that were being sold at a paid rate. The rule is that if you are selling these rooms at a price, then you have to make them available for awards.

Don't get too hung up on the standard vs. deluxe nature of these rooms as described by the associate. I've seen plenty of Cat 1 & 2 hotels put deluxe rooms on a standard award rate plan. That is what is the determining factor for us.
