My family and I were at Curacao end of March/beginning of April. it really is a very nice property. Food was not the greatest but there are few alternatives around the hotel (within walking distance). The drinks are pretty reasonable during Happy Hour (even when it is not happy hour). Mixed tropical drinks were about $3.50.

If you have a car (there is a National car rental and alaom at the hotel), then possibilities were endless. 3 miles from the hotel, there was a supermarket I think was called Centrium. We stocked up on Beer and snacks. There is a mini-frig in the room and was empty. So we used it to stock up on things.

We did not have problems with chairs either.

Lastly, everyone at the hotel was really nice.
