Broadband Internet is available on SQ now!

For those who require Internet access during flight, consider flying SQ...... (EVERY class, EVERY seat, not just F and J.)

(copy and paste from www.singaporeair.com....) AC has traditionally been a market follower rather than a market leader and Internet access should be availalbe with the new B777 and B787 recently ordered in about 2 years' time.

BROADBAND INTERNET

Inflight broadband internet is now available in every class, in every seat, connecting you to the world, allowing you to access emails and surf the Internet at 35,000 feet above ground!

ABOUT THE SERVICE

Starting 7th March 2005, SIA will be amongst the first carriers to offer real-time, high speed in-flight connectivity service to its passengers and will top it off in mid-2005 by bringing live international TV on board, beamed through Connexion by Boeing to passengers' laptops.

Passengers using this service onboard Connexion by Boeing equipped SIA aircraft will be able to send and receive emails, connect real-time to their corporate virtual private networks and surf the Internet via their own wireless-enabled (802.11 a/b/g) laptops.

You will also be introduced to a whole new era of inflight entertainment when live international TV is made avilable in mid-2005. The exciting channel lineup will initially include four international new channels, with sports content to be added at a later date.
