This happened to me flying CX (Y) HKG-LHR in March 2004. I found a piece of glass in the bottom of my OJ glass. I wasn't sure if I had swallowed any smaller bits cos I had just gulped down the whole lot. I notified the FA and she escalated it to the purser who was very helpful and apologectic etc. I did write to CX afterwards to express my concerns regarding the glass and also my displeasure of my Y experience being ruined by the incident

After a few letters back and forth to CS in HK, I was in the fortunate situation of having 3 single sector single class upgrades curtesy of CX. I used them this year flying Y and all 3 of us (Mr and Mrs ACLMC and toddler) were in NBC for LHR-HKG.

Makes it almost worthwhile doesn't it?
