Mine are also still alive. However, I've only had mine for a couple of months. Recently, I've been withdrawing different amounts from each card. I also do not empty the cards. I leave $50 or so in each card. I also buy gas using a different card everytime. When cashing out at the ATM, I use a different set of cards each time. I withdraw amounts that are not multiples of $100. I would withdraw $340 from one and $260 from another.
