Good question! The Customs office at LAX was in the check in area so just ask at the check in gate and they can hopefully point you in the right direction. The Bose Store I was at gave me a copy of the address to make the claim to so prob best to get that from the shop to show the agent. All they did was put some official stamps on the reciept. Just Customs etc. Nothing stamped to say "checked and removed from the US". Suprised me as the US usually have stamps of officialdom for EVERYTHING!
