Does anyone know if there are plans to do road improvements in Downtown Kapaa? It's so bad there and with that new condo development going in right across from Safeway, it's only going to get worse. I also heard Coco Palms is getting re-developed, so that isn't going to exactly help matters from a traffic perspective either.

the kapaa bypass road is presently being worked on. there is a new roundabout (first one on island, so be careful) that is newly installed. there are plans to extend that bypass road, and on a separate theme, "improve" the highway "some day" from lihue to koloa. there's an article about it in today's garden island newspaper.
