They will arrange to have you picked up at the hotel at no extra charge.Many trips can be arranged to areas mentioned in this thread. When I was a kid and visiting my grandparents, the Deutsches Museum was indeed one of my favorite places to go. For bad weather I think you have made a good choice of staying at the City Hilton. The trains are directly below hotel and I think that would be a lot easier when hauling kids around
