Try Continental from Europe to USA for bad food. They beat them all. I actually have found BA food edible and quite good. The crews have been quite nice. The AA crews generally on Europe - USA routes seem to have "psychological problems." I don't think being middle aged has anything to do with it. In addition the young ones are not better.

The only negative is the 31" legroom on BA.
