Scheduled departure: 10:30 PM
Estimated: 11:00 AM
Reason: Schedule change due to Aircraft Servicing

So that's 3 747's out in a day, this one due to a fuel line issue (or that's what they were saying at the airport).

Btw other then a hotel should she be expecting any other compensation?
"I've rebooked myself on Qantas*. Could you please print my ticket or write me a FIM? And could you please note in my PNR that I should receive original routing credit for the SFO-SYD flight? Thank you."

*SFO-AA-LAX-QF-SYD

You'd have to find out about this early though, as the last AA flight to LAX departs at 8:47pm.
