I am confused by your presentation, but if you are unable to do NRT-ICN as an AA codeshare after more than 24 hours, you are running into a "Fifth Freedom" violation.

AA has no right to market a flight wholley within Japan. Only as part of a connecting itin.

This is why you can only find it if you stop less than 24 hours.
