I highly doubt that AC's flight schedule was designed to compliment HP's hub. AC doesn't even have a codesharing agreement with US, let alone HP. Also, the US/HP merger is far, far from final. If that merger falls through, I wouldn't expect HP to partner with AC or *A. Finally, if AC were to hook up with HP, I'd expect flights to PHX rather than LAS.
