Hmmm. Flew their 340 service JNB-HKG a couple of years ago and mis-remember the cabin config.
It's telling (of something) that in spite of having just 8 seats, A-class out of JFK is very available, usually showing A4. We grabbed 3 on 8 July (on 889, as 831 has spotty availability) and Cathay is now offering A2 suggesting they're not expecting a crush of F-class applicants. It's no wonder first-class services are going the way of the dinosaurs. (They've made J a little too attractive.)
