I am really thrilled by CX's willingness and ability to open up an A class seat for me on CX 831 on 5/20. The flight was showing F2 A0, but within 1 hour of my request on an AONE, the flight was confirmed and I was called. This quick response was critical, because this is the originating segment of a RTW which needed to be ticketed one week in advance and also because the first over water-flight can't be changed, so if they didn't clear this seat on this day, I would have been stuck with another route (LAX or SFO).

I was also very impressed by the follow up and follow thru of the reservations staff today, calling me many times on my cell and at my office to finalize my RTW ticketing details and issue the ticket to be Fedex'd to me by Tuesday. ^

Anyone other FT'ers flying to HKG on 831 next Friday (5/20)?
