come now, you never really expected to see AA roll-out this great idea across the baord did you??? from the second i read this test idea, i knew we would never see it rolled-out system wide.....

after all, that would be one more thing for FAs to have to do re: renting the IFE units. remember, FAs are already at minimum staffing as it is, and are now forced to be concession workers as it is...



P.S. - I sincerely agree with you - it would be a great idea, especially on longer routes on the DUMB 80s (i.e. the insulting ORD-LAX nonstop Silly 80).
