Hi,

I flew a couple of times AMS-LAX oln the 747-400 (Combi) seats wer comfortable enough, champagne on board, reasonable IFE, good food, crew were good ( lounges not as good as BA or VS) priority baggage handling, schiphol airport is nice, Delft houses given out.

If on the 747-400 the exit row on the upper deck (row 77) has oodles of space

KLM has not lost my bags coming off a long haul connecting to a short haul ( unlike BA with a 3 hour connection at LHR)

Overall whilst not as good as BA , the food was very good and would travel on the 747-400 WBC again. ( I've heard the 777 ( 2-3-2 in WBC I thought) have attracted complaints
