One time I was at MIA waiting for the incoming flight from LAX so that I could board the return to LAX in the middle of a thunderstorm (bordering on tropical storm) which was already delayed 2+ hours. I received the text message from EasyUpdate telling me my flight was cancelled and immediately approached the GAs. When I said "so we're cancelled?" they responded "We are?"
EasyUpdate and I knew the status before the GAs.
