You may be right.... according to another news report Qatar is set to order 50 A350.

I guess all these orders are good for Airbus and Boeing, but I wonder how they can utilize all these plane capacities between the three Middle Eastern countries? We are talking about close to 300 wide-bodies when they are all delivered. That's not too far behind the total flown between the US airlines (UA, AA, DL, NW, CO and US). If you count the the number of seats on the 43 A380 order by EK, it wouldn't surprise me if the seat capacity in from those three airlines exceed the seat capacity of US wide-bodies.
