Angry late again!

Personally, I'm moving my business elsewhere until Alaska can pull their operations together.

On Monday morning I had a 7am flight from SEA to SMF that finally left at 9:30am due to a comedy of errors. First, the MD-80 was broken and they needed to swap it out (I'm not sure if my experience is indicative of a larger problem, but this happens about half the time I fly on an MD-80). At that point we were about an hour late and had the flight fully boarded. It then took 45 minutes to get the luggage on. Then, they decided all those connecting on to Palm Springs were going to miss their flight so they pulled them off and it took another 45 minutes or so to get their luggage off the plane. I considered trying to jump on the 9:35am to SMF but when I checked on Alaska's 800 number that flight was already delayed 45 minutes! Unbelievable!

Oh, and then they announced once we took off that they had no ice because the flight was not stocked up (even with all that wait time!) so beverages would be room temperature!
