Eek. I gave up flying UA after 2000. I was regularly facing multiple hour delays from So Cal to No Cal. It was a perfect storm - weather delays at SFO, pilot work slow downs and extremely high booking levels. The last straw was having a flight cancelled at ONT so I had to drive myself to LAX, wait hours on standby and finally get home at 2 am.
