Ok, seriously, though, I really do wonder about the "policeman". The whole thing does seem odd when you look at the pieces and how they just don't seem to fit. All I'm saying is that there have been many incidents in different situations and different locations of people pretending to be police, for whatever reason. Just something to consider. I don't suppose there's any way you could try to trace down the "policeman", did you have a name, badge number, name of the police department--perhaps you could call to see if he checks out, without going into your situation? At least you would have that information, and if someone is indeed posing as a police officer the police dept. there needs to know about it.
