Not sure which is worse: Methed-Up White Sox Fan or Liquor-Soaked Cardinal Fan. The problem with these fans is that many of them seem to come to the games to start fights.
I was at the Cards-Royals game last weekend, and KCMO's Finest had to haul out about a dozen Cardinal Fans from our section, some of whom started fights with
other Cardinal Fans. These are very, very wierd fans.
Cubs Fans are known for their beverage consumption, but it doesn't seem to lead to widespread hostility towards other fans. Yankee Fans are quintessentially New Yorker, but I didn't see a fight in the stands while I was there. (It was a day game when the Yankees beat the Royals by 8 runs. Might've had something to do with it...) I would go back to Yankee or Wrigley as an opposing fan - with my family - and not worry for my safety. I'll never set foot inside Comiskey or Busch ever again. (I might hit the new STL park 1 time by myself just to "count" it.)
