She said the most recent delays are not AA's fault, but instead because the labor union is on strike for the contractors who work on the elevators and moving walkways, and apparently the elevators and moving walkways are not working properly and need to be fixed before the terminal can open.

The story about the elevators/moving walkways conforms to what I have been told.
The million dollar question for me is not when it will open, but will their be a Flagship Lounge?
Any answer other than "yes" to that question is, IMO, unacceptable.
