I just called the JFK International AC and spoke with a very nice AAgent. She told me that the new estimated opening date for the new terminals is AUGUST 15, 2005.

She said the most recent delays are not AA's fault, but instead because the labor union is on strike for the contractors who work on the elevators and moving walkways, and apparently the elevators and moving walkways are not working properly and need to be fixed before the terminal can open.
