when checking in for a res with a cert, the e-kiosk will automatically say you need agent assistance. the agents are usually busy as we elites check in a late as possible.

they see the record, see that you're elite and assume the EUA process (whether it happened or not) has unsynched your record.

if you say, "i think my record is out of synch," they are usually impressed that you even know the lingo. they then fix it and send you on your way, never actually asking for the cert. sometimes they do though.
