I finally got a Canadian stamp in my US passport when flying into Toronto a few days ago. It was involuntary. That is, I didn't have to ask the immigration officer for the stamp.
It's black, has the usual Canadian government logo (Canada with the little flag and Customs/Douanes), and identifies the airport (PIA/IAP).
