For Treos there's a free flight status that gives dep/arr
times and security delays for multiple airlines. Search
Treocentral.com for "flight status".

For United you can sign up for arr/dep notification
on a per flight basis using their EasyUpdate to
send voice messages to your designated phone number.

I suspect similar systems for the other airlines.
