To get seats not yet reserved info on united.com, you have to go through the drill of a dummy booking.

However, it used to be easier to get just fare bucket info on the website. In the past few days, I've noted that it's more difficult to get the fare bucket availability info to show consistently on united.com. There is an alternate site that draws fare bucket info from Apollo but as the following thread shows, it's been having trouble lately in displaying the correct info.
