That itin should be fine.

Just note that, as everyone said, you will be allowed 1 stopover (defined as 24 hours or more) other than your final destination.

If you can work it, you could stop in other cities on the way over or back if you stay 24 hours or less. I sometimes schedule an overnight stay in Tokyo or Bangkok, SIN or HKG just to have dinner with pals there.

I also heard that TG was restricting availability on the JFK nonstop to BKK...I think I read this somewhere on this forum...

Perhaps you'd like to try something like this:


SQ EWR - SIN - Take a 24 hour stopover if you want
SQ SIN - BKK (yes you get Raffles on this flight as long as you fly a 3 class plane) - BKK as your final destination
TG BKK - HKG Take a real stopover here for a few days of R&R
SQ HKG - SFO Raffles
UA SFO - New York P.S. here right?

This is a way to visit a few cities.
