The only non-stop ORD-JFK flight I know of for this summer is a Delta flight that goes out in the middle of the day. Taking connecting flights to go from ORD to JFK during the summer is an even bigger gamble than just taking a frequent non-stop flight to LGA and over-landing it to JFK.
