You should have no problems with 2 hours. You don't mention the carrier which will make a difference with respect to customs. If you are on Continental, you will pull into the CO international Concourse C. I often get through this in under 30 minutes but it can take longer with luggage if you hit during peak time.

To connect you must go back through security - if you are connecting onward with Continental, once you exit Customs you'll be able to re-enter the Continental terminal via the security checkpoint at the high #'d C concourse gates.

IF you're connecting onto a Delta flight to CVG, they depart out of the low gates in concourse B (Low # gates). Take the Air Train to Concourse B for Delta Air Lines.

If you're incoming on a non-US carrier, the Customs & Immigrations is located in Concourse B (higher gates). I have always managed to get through this quickly in recent times, but YMMV if you hit during "peak" period.

Any change in concourses will require a trip on the EWR "Air Train" which connects the three concourses, C, B, and A, along with the parking garages and train station.
