This is the way it is for me. I can get WT+ because it does not breach company policy of not flying J (or F of course) unless there is very little price difference (sometimes CE is only 20-50 euro more than ET).
I find WT+ makes a difference and is worth the extra money. You certainly do benefit from the extra leg room (which is 4 inches more than CE) and wider seat, you get a glass instead of a plastic cup for the wine, and generally you feel the crew make more of an effort. You are also first off after J and in the US this can make a difference with immigration.
One other difference which is important to some is that WT+ seats have power outlets so you can hook up your laptop and keep it going for the whole journey (if your so inclined!). Finally, there are games in the IFE but I've never tried them so can't comment really.
Overall, well worth it, and frankly on a day flight is probably better value for money than J (no flaming please!)
