I have to grin at that line... just what part of our boarding process is 'organized'? LMAO! When I am working the "B" position (you know, the FA who is in the cabin during that 'process') I have as much fun (and crack jokes) with the fact that I'm constantly in the way... but to do my job I have to be in the cabin so therefore I'm always gonna be in the way. By having fun with it the pax seem to realize that I'm not in the way by my choice, but I'm just trying to do my job the best I can in a bad situation.

I myself hope that the 'powers that be' see the light and realize that allegedly shaving a minute or two is absolutely not worth the discontent and hassle foisted upon our passengers by the current boarding process. It's hectic, chaotic and (IMHO) embarassing that even WN (the acknowledged king of fast turns) has boarding groups so there's not a mad crush of folks trying to get on board at the same moment. Please don't think I am suggesting we switch over to boarding groups of 30... just saying that they don't have 100-130 folks trying to board at the same moment.

BTW I did experience once recently a return to the boarding by rows/zones when I was non-revving. Everyone in the boarding area was doing double takes in that huge crowd towards the door when they heard "Rows 24-27 only" and so forth... Has sanity returned to the AS boarding procedure? (or perhaps the gate agent was rebelling against the current process) One can only hope!
